Well, since finishing animating there was a lovely almost 2 weeks worth of rendering and sending the batches to Jessica to composite and edit.
In the mean time I have been downloading songs and helping Jess select the soundtrack.
For the last 3 days I have prepared some funky 60s credits (which I will post up tonight) but unfortunately they were not exporting correctly and would becaome corrupt afterwards, hopefully we can fix this in time for the degree show. So for now we have plain credits but the film itself came out amazing, well done Jess for the final put together, and well done to myself and Eva for being part of the process :)
I do feel a little left out when it came to the post production side of things, I wasn't asked to do anythign but render. I do feel though that my bulk of animation and other production work has been valued and has been a major input to the film. I think I have grown through this group project and have deffinitly established a new talent in animation that I will now aspire to improve prosporously in the field.

AAAAHHHH something's wrong with pigeon 3!
ooooh noooo, somethings wrong with Pigeon 3! something happens to his textures when the blendshapes move around or even just when his head does. The strange thing is, this does not happen through the perspective view, just the camera, so maybe the lighting is having an effect? or camera settings? Here's a playblast, you can slilghtly notice because its crappy quality but below are also some screen caps of what I'm seeing.....
Little Owl Freaking Out!
This was fun to do, this is little owl just as he runs to the pavement when he almost gets run over.
Aside from being out of breath he then realises that he's burnt, and then he vomits out his lunch :P
With a little burp to follow at the end. Poor Little Owl.

Run Little Owl Run
I actually found it quite difficult doing a running cycle directly into an already animated scene, so I had to do a bit of a play around with the rig first in a seperate Maya file.
Almost only 2 weeks to go until hand in date (June 13th)!!!
